Supalite (Lightweight)
ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT BLOCKS WITH SUPERB INSULATING PROPERTIES
Forticrete Supalite blocks are manufactured from expanded clay aggregates in accordance with BS EN 771-3:2003. They have an open texture suitable for plastering or rendering. Their exceptionally light weight makes them easy to transport to and around site, easy to handle and helps to comply with the HSE guidelines on single man repetitive lifting.
Supalite blocks are suitable for a range of applications and are particularly suited for use in internal partitions or loadbearing walls, offering high strength and good fixability.
With a density of just 1000 kg/m³, they are exceptionally lightweight and offer superb insulating properties for internal walls, which means that minimal amounts of secondary insulation are needed to enable external walls to achieve high thermal values.
