Gemini's new Colour shines in Bedfordshire
Bellway Homes are in the process of building 58 homes in the attractive Bedfordshire Village of Langford and have always wanted to use the Gemini roof tile on this project.
Initially the Autumn and Brindle colours were shown to the planners however they were rejected because they did not produce the appearance of a clay plain tile as required.
With this in mind and with the help from one of our loyal
factors (Rob Robertson from Moore Scott), Forticrete presented
Bellway Homes and the Planners with two new colours that were
on the verge of being
released; Sunrise Blend and Mixed Russet.
The aim of these new colours is to create a clay appearance plain tile on the roof whilst providing the contractor with the advantages of laying the Gemini tile. The planners were shown pictures and a number of samples of the new colours to indicate the quality and appearance of the new products and this led to the product being accepted across the whole site - excellent news for both Forticrete and Bellway Homes.
