Newcon RD meets the standard
Newcon RD is a further addtion to the Forticrete product range and meets the requirements of Robust Details party wall solution E-WM-9, which was introduced last year.
The block is based on the Newcon 100mm solid dense, however the RD block has a groove along one vertical face, so that when it is laid flat to construct a 215mm wide wall, the groove can be seen from both sides for inspection purposes.
E-WM-9 at present can only be used on raft foundations, however Robust Details are looking at the possibility in the future of developing the detail for use on traditional strip foundations.
