FORTICRETE RECOGNISED BY PRESTIGOUS PRIDE IN THE JOB AWARDS

Forticrete, the UK's leading manufacturer of concrete construction products, has been recognised with an award for industry best practice by the NHBC (National House-Building Council) at this year's 'Pride in the Job' Awards.

The award was presented to Forticrete in recognition of its invaluable support and hard work in supplying materials of a high standard to 'The Crescent' development in Birmingham, for which site manager Rob Thorp from Barratt West Midlands received the 'Pride in the Job Quality Award winning Manager' award.

Barratt West Midlands specially selected Forticrete's semi-dry Cast Stone Cills to provide the decorative cast stone detailing for the new development in Shard End, and also specified Forticrete's DH2 Heads. 

The development is part of a highly anticipated multi-million pound regeneration project, which heralds a new era for the area, providing a range of 1 & 2 bedroom apartments and 3/4 bedroom houses comprising of two and three storey designs.
