FORTICRETE SCOOPS GOLD AT BRITISH PRECAST CONCRETE AWARDS
For the second year running, Forticrete, the UK's leading manufacturer of architectural masonry products , has been presented with the Gold award for Health and Safety Improvements at the 2011 British Precast Concrete Awards and Presentations.
The award, which recognises Forticrete's continual improvement in the fields of Behavioural, Physical and Occupationalsafety, came with the prestigious Red Seal, which highlights the organisation's success in reducing the number of accidents throughout its workforce in line with the scheme's targets.
John Lambert, general manager at Forticrete, commented: "Health and safety in the workplace has long been at the top of our agenda and our dedication to continuous improvement in this area is second to none.
"To have won this award two years running is an amazing achievement and testament to everyone across the business who has invested the time and effort into improving health and safety at our site.
