Frequently Asked Questions

Masonry

[icon] - Question

Can masonry units be laid to a radius?

[icon] - Answer

Standard 440 x 100 x 215mm units can be laid to a radius. The practical limits are determined by the acceptable face width of the perpends on the outer radius and the amount of overhang between courses. For example a 4.5m radius would mean a vertical perpend width of 20mm, and an overhang of 5˝mm. The tighter the radius the larger the overhang.
