Forticrete's commitment to the UK building industry goes far beyond the creation of the highest quality products. Certainly the highest standards of manufacture are achieved and adhered to at all times.

This is evidenced by the fact that every long-term manufacturing facility is registered under BS EN 9001:2000, the international standard for quality based on third-party assessment.

Obviously the company's products are designed and produced to the highest standards, otherwise so many of them would not be able to fly the prestigious BS Kitemark.

Forticrete Awarded Highest Rating for BES 6001

FORTICRETE AWARDED 'EXCELLENT' IN RESPONSIBLE SOURCING STANDARD

Forticrete is pioneering the way for sustainability. It has gained The British Standards Institution (BSI) rating of "excellent" for BES 6001. The BES 6001 standard is awarded for responsible sourcing. To gain the award it is necessary to demonstrate that a building material is sustainable. It must also have been produced in a way that has minimised its environmental impact.

BES 6001 Accreditation

The company received the prestigious accreditation for all of its product groups:-

• Roofing
• Walling
• Cast stone
• Architectural masonry

All Forticrete's manufacturing sites gained the standard. An impressive six assessments were achieved out of a possible seven.
