Project Description
The village of Wentworth in South
Yorkshire is a quaint, rural village which is popular with
tourists.
Wentworth has various craft type businesses operating within
its curtilage and has numerous old buildings with traditional
character and Features associated with a more traditional
era.
Lying within a conservation area, many of the roofs are of
stone slate construction, consequently, selection of alternative
materials for use in the area is strictly controlled.
It was with this in mind that Forticrete Hardrow was specified as
the chosen roofing slate to blend in with the stone and
natural slate of the village. Approximately 1000m² of were used on
the re-roofing scheme with excellent end results.
