Project Description
Bowey Homes, now part of McInerney Homes North
East Ltd were being forced down the route of Natural Slate, on
their prestigious housing project at Fulwell. David Atkinson, the
Project Manager, chose the Forticrete Minislate Tile to give the
appearance of a 20 x 10 Natural Slate and at the same time
significantly reduced the roof costs.
The planners had no objection to the use of Minislate after viewing
other local projects in the same product. David said the appearance
of the Minislate had produced the desired results in keeping with
this exclusive development and would have no hesitation in
specifying Minislate in the future.
