Project Description:
A new pavilion for Wolverhampton Cricket Club costing over half
a million pounds was supplied and fixed with Forticrete's
Gemini concrete
roof tile in Brindle colour by Danescourt Roofing Ltd of Four
Ashes, Wolverhampton.
Russell Wood, a partner in Danescourt Roofing, is a former opening
batsman for Wolverhampton Cricket Club, who play in the Premier
Division of the Birmingham League.The club has a very high
reputation in the Midlands, and can count Allan Donald, of South
Africa, as one of its many famous former players.
The pavilion was officially opened on 31st July 2007 and was
attended by an array of cricketing personalities, including Tom
Graveney OBE and Vikram Solanki, both patrons of the club and
former England team members.
