Project Description
This £25 million project comprised the comprehensive redevelopment of the Poole Pottery site at Poole Quay, Dorset and included new building work, refurbishment and extensions to provide a factory shopping village.
This development included 6 shops totalling 6,994 sqm, a restaurant of 1,400 sqm, tourist facilities totalling 1,500 sqm, ancillary offices of 332 sqm, production facilities of 1,276 sqm and storage area of 30 sqm.
In addition 105 flats (total floor area 12,653 sqm), including penthouse apartments were constructed with the building reaching up a total of 7 storeys.
The project featured Forticrete Precast masonry, with a combination of wet cast and semi-dry Cast Stone, as well as a substantial quantity of Ashlar , all in Portland colour.
